Our Background

Our team brings together decades of hands-on experience across construction, structural engineering, industrial automation, and mechanical design, spanning multiple countries and building disciplines. That foundation runs from family-owned construction engineering roots, where a firm built in mechanical systems (HVAC, boilers, chillers) grew into a multidisciplinary company serving major institutions nationwide across government contracts, high-rise residential development, and specialty construction, to hands-on work in industrial automation and pneumatic systems, where precision, repeatability, and safety in machine design became second nature.

These paths converged around cold-formed and structural steel. Since 2014, our team has been deeply embedded in the U.S. construction market, rising through leadership roles at a pioneering cold-formed steel framing company and co-founding a venture that introduced a hybrid building system and design-assist protocol to improve cost efficiency, architectural integration, and project speed across residential, retail, medical, hospitality, and multifamily developments. Alongside that, we built deep BIM-based design expertise using tools like Autocad, Revit, Inventor, Advance Steel, Tekla, Robot, Navisworks, MWF, Sketchup, CFS Designer, Solid Works, and pretty anything else out in the market. bridging design intent and fabrication accuracy so that every model, connection, and assembly is built to be fabricated efficiently and correctly the first time.

That combined experience in design, fabrication, and field execution is what allows us to build smarter, more efficient construction systems, from concept through completion.

Years of dedicated research and development have culminated in a proprietary ecosystem built specifically to change how the industry designs, fabricates, and constructs. We are not waiting to prove it out on paper. We use it ourselves every day, on real projects, validating and refining it in the field with every job that runs through it. This ground-up testing is what will make it ready for the industry at large: our ecosystem is on track to become available to users in 2028, backed by years of real-world proof rather than a lab concept.

Engineering Responsibility

A licensed consulting engineer works hand in hand with us on every project. Offsite Academy performs design coordination, modeling, detailing, take-off and procurement support. All structural engineering analysis and every sealed deliverable are performed by that independent licensed engineer, who serves as engineer of record and holds professional responsibility for the engineering. Offsite Academy is not a licensed engineering firm, employs no Professional Engineers, and does not offer or hold itself out as offering professional engineering services.
